I have a spare gori with good blades, though I don't like the hub because there is continuity between the outer hub and the drive spindle. The blades and gears are excellent. If to be used in fresh water, no problem with the hub, otherwise fix your own hub as per my previous instructions with the epoxy, and change the blades over. I will check on the size, but I'm guessing that it is correct. I am currently in Hong Kong and won't be back in Canada until the 27th to check the actual size.

Yes, I have read that. But in my case, it is a worn out rubber bushing and the teeth of the blades are seriously worn out, too, so that the propeller does not really fold anymore :(
So it would be a new bushing and new blades as well, and that is more expensive than a new prop. But thanks for the advice! Regards, Michael |

If the isolation bushing is worn out causing the inner hub to spin freely of the outer hub/blades, it may be possible to have it repaired by sending it back to Gori. This happened to mine this summer and rather than losing the season I bought a new one from AB marine, something like $1100. Somewhere on this list is a description of repairing this condition with some epoxy and an oven. I may try that with my old one this winter.

Hi,
would be great if it is the right size. But I suspect three-bladed it will be a size or more bigger :( Michael |
