Go to www.laser28.com. There are detailed instructions on single point lifting including a bracket design which attaches to the keel bolts. You'll need to get a machine shop fabricate the lifting bracket. Easy to install, you can even do it while the boats in the water. PS use a nylon sling not a chain.

I have a vent just forward of the sliding hatch. Can I lift the boat by running chain through vent hole and anchoring to my keel bolts? If so, is there anything I should be concerned about?
