thanks frfletch,
Rapscallion is on a single handed distance race today (sans prop) and he will respond to the offer/ the thread soon after he finishes and gets is boat 80 north up the lake. It is a fresh water boat. WarBird |

Will this boat be operating in fresh or salt water? I have a spare prop, however there is electrical continuity between spline and prop, so I cannot recommend it for ocean operation. It is in otherwise good condition and I'm pleased to sell it to someone if useful.
I can't really explain why there is continuity. I suspect there is no rubber in the hub, but Gori denies they ever made such a prop. It looks identical to the other Gori props, and all parts are inter-changeable. Weird! |

Can the prop internalls, rubber and splined sleave be replaced? Banana Wind thought it was a very expensive repair. Rapscallion has a spare prop with weinered up rubber and no splined sleave, lost his pro recently and is looking at options. (the outboard idea sucks).
